Baseball cards

Did anybody ever collect basaeball cards? I did in the late 1950's and 1960's. Back in the very early 1980's the little kid that lived across the street from me started buying packs of cards at the little store around the corner. I would play at little catch with him most afternoons and he showed me his cards one day. Boy did this start something. I found all my old cards and we had a blast looking at the Mantle, Yogi, Williams and all the rest. This got me real excited about buying cards with him and putting together our sets. And that's what we did the rest of that summer.

One day he asks if I will take him to the card show he saw advertized in the paper, I ask "What is a card show?"
